Monolithic Microfluidic Devices

We manufacture standard and custom monolithic microfluidic devices by directly 3D printing functional microfluidic chips using biocompatible Cyto-Clear resin and state-of-the art microfluidic 3D printing technology.

This process enables monolithic microfluidic devices without bonding, alignment, or plasma treatment including 3D channels and direct connectors such as Luer Locks and threads while providing broad-spectrum biocompatibility.

Cyto-Clear resin is specifically engineered for microfluidic applications, offering high optical transparency, chemical resistance, and fine feature resolution. Direct 3D printing allows for complex channel geometries, vertical interconnects, and three-dimensional fluid channels that are not feasible with conventional manufacturing technologies or PDMS casting.

Typical applications include droplet microfluidics, mixing, cell handling, optical detection systems, and integrated lab-on-chip devices where robustness and geometric complexity are critical.

Key advantages:

  • Fully enclosed microchannels

  • No bonding or layer alignment

  • Helical and 3D channels with little design restrictions

  • Integrated features and connectors such as Luer Locks

  • Broad-spectrum biocompatibility

  • Suitable for optical microscopy, low autofluorescence

We offer a range of standard monolithic microfluidic devices for various applications in our Online-Shop.
