MB Microfluidics
Custom Monolithic Microfluidic Devices and PDMS Master Molds
MB Microfluidics is a specialised branch of mb prototyping Ltd. focused on custom microfluidic device manufacturing utilizing state-of-the-art high-resolution 3D printing technologies.
Our goal is to reduce technical and infrastructural barriers for early-stage research while enabling advanced geometries and fast iteration cycles. We are engineering driven and bring broad manufacturing experience across multiple industries.
From our manufacturing site in Ontario, Canada, we serve academic research groups, startups and industrial R&D teams with design-aware custom microfluidic fabrication.

Our processes enable the production of ultra-precise monolithic microfluidic devices, high-resolution PDMS master molds, as well as microneedle arrays and bio-interface tooling within short turnaround times while delivering a smooth surface finish for superior results.
By leveraging microfluidic-optimized 3D printing platforms and materials, we achieve feature resolutions and 3D geometries that are not feasible with conventional manufacturing technologies.

We specialize in complex 3D microfluidic structures that go beyond lithography, while maintaining scalability from prototyping to small-scale serial production. Although our core focus is custom manufacturing, we also offer a selection of standard devices and products in our Online Shop, providing ready-to-use solutions and practical examples of what is technically achievable with our technology.

Custom Monolithic Microfluidic Devices
We manufacture custom microfluidic devices by directly 3D printing fully functional microfluidic chips using biocompatible Cyto-Clear resin and high-precision 3D printing technology. This process enables fully enclosed, bond-free microfluidic devices with complex 3D channel networks, integrated connectors and high optical transparency. Ideal for robust ready-to-use applications and rapid design iterations.

PDMS Master Molds
We design and manufacture high-precision PDMS master molds using state-of-the-art microfluidic 3D printing technology. These molds replace traditional photolithography while widening the scope of geometrical capabilities, offering excellent surface quality, long mold lifetime, and compatibility with standard PDMS casting workflows without cleanroom infrastructure or release agents.
